The
simple ‘plug in’ feature of the
Fiber Distribution Module (FDM) eliminates
the need for on site termination resulting
in fast, easy and cost effective installations.
FDM's are designed to provide a compact and
secure modular cabling system that is compatible
with hardware that Fiber Connections offers
or existing hardware that the customer already
has in place.

FDM’s utilize the proven multi-fiber
MTP™ connector technology to provide
high density connectivity for up to 12 multimode
or single mode fibers. The MTP connector is
mounted in the back of the module to allow
for easy access of pre-terminated MTP assemblies.
FDM’s are available in either six or
twelve fiber configurations and in any combination
of traditional connector styles (SC, ST, FC,
LC or MT-RJ) on the front of the module. FDM's
offer both multimode and single mode fiber
and are available in 4” or 5”
dimensions. All FDM’s are manufactured
with mounting plates that fit into industry
standard panels. To ensure quality compliance
to specification and ISO 9002, all FDM’s
have a serialized number assigned and are
shipped complete with test reports. |
